Every year I put on a Halloween display for the local children. Although many people
think it is a North American tradition, it's roots can be traced back to Ireland
and the keltic traditions later absorbed into Catholicisim. Last year I decide
to make a life sized Alien for the roof, built from a mannequin, polyurethane
and fibreglass. With dripping water from his mouth, and positioned over our
front door he was a chilling delight to all the visiting children.
