WCBY Sign component gallery

A few years ago now I build two lifesize mechanised Toucans for a sign company. Each one sat either side of a jackpot sign in a club, when the jackpot was activated both the birds swung their heads from side to side and open and closed their beaks in time to a birdcall soundtrack within my client's sign. On the left you can see the raw clay model from which a mould was made and two bird cast. I then added the motors and mechanics to animate them.
